Really? I'm out of practice with painting so I'm rather unsure of it but you think it's good I can believe it, you know what you're talking about. It's much brighter in real life which reminds me a bit too much of pop art and less realistic but I'm probably nitpicking.

I think set against such a light blue sky, there would be some pop-ness to the picture no matter how light the pink. After doing minimal amounts of research, however, cherry blossoms seem to range in colour from much paler to much brighter so I think you are in the clear. :]

Also, can I use this to create a new icon for my Deviant account?

You seriously want to use it? lol Sure, go nuts and yea I did some research too when I first started drawing it, still it was brighter then I originally thought it would be
